THE LIMITS
The free plan's limits, in numbers
Going over these limits does not delete anything: whatever you already have stays as it is. You just cannot create more until you upgrade to Tally PRO.

What PRO does not change
Tally PRO expands capacity and adds features. It does not change what Tally is.
- It does not connect to banks or Open Banking, and does not download movements on its own.
- It has no category budgets and no envelope-style money assignment.
- It does not calculate balances or debts between people.
- It does not use real-time or historical exchange rates, and does not convert when saving: each movement keeps its currency.

Does Tally have a free trial?
There is no trial period, because there is no need for one: the free plan never expires. It includes 3 accounts, the built-in categories, 1 AI receipt analysis, 1 recurring item and 1 goal, with no ads.
Which plan is the best value?
The yearly plan: €0.83 a month versus €1.99 paying month to month, 58% less. The one-time payment of €29.99 pays for itself after 3 years.
Do I need PRO to share an account with someone else?
Yes, and so does the other person. Sharing and accepting a shared account requires Tally PRO on both devices.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Movements, accounts, and receipts stay on the device; you just lose access to PRO features and can no longer create beyond the free plan's limits.
Are these prices the same in every country?
No. These are the prices for Spain. Tally asks the App Store or Google Play for the price, so the final amount is set by your store and your country.
